Busy 2010, Bring on 2011!

We can't believe that we are nearing the end of 2010. It has been a busy year for KeJo Productions. In October, we celebrated finishing ROGUE RIVER at Screamfest in Los Angeles and then again at the Sacramento Horror Festival in Sacramento. We won two awards in Sacramento and now the film is in the hands of Parlay Media. We look forward to getting the film out to an audience in 2011!

November was pre-production on THE APOLOGIST in Los Angeles. It was a pleasure working with the Aussie Directors and having the chance to meet Sam Elliott and Giovanni Ribisi. Yes, Sam is as cool in person as he seems in the movies. Not to mention that voice! He could read the phonebook and it would sound good!

December has been about pre-production on the next MyRecordFantasy webseries with Todd Rundren, which shoots January 17, 18 & 19 at the Track Shack studios. Kevin has been polishing a few new scripts and Jo is also busy closing the books for the upcoming tax season. We also took some extra time to spend with family and friends the holiday season as another project will take Jo away for several months early next year. We can only hope that 2011 will bring as many memories and interesting projects as 2010.

Screamfest 2010!

Rogue River Premier will be on October 11th, 2010 during Screamfest L.A. located a Mann's Chinese Theater. The"black" carpet starts at 6:30pm with the screening at 7:30pm. After-party is being scheduled now. Stay tune for more information coming soon.

Sacramento Film & Music Festival - Rogue River Screening!

The Rogue River screening at the Crest Theater in Sacramento was a huge success! It was great to see the cast and crew again, without our winter coats. It was a nice celebration after so much hard work for the last seven month of production and post-production. Thanks to the entire team for your continued support and dedication. We really believe that filmmaking is a team sport and each person on the team is critical to the success of the finished product. We continue to be proud of this team and part of this project. There is another Sacramento screening on the horizon. We'll be announcing soon!

Rogue River screening at the Sacramento Film & Music Festival

Our second feature film "Rogue River" will be screening at the Sacramento Film & Music Festival on July 31st, 8pm at the Crest Theater in Sacramento. The film stars Bill Moseley (Halloween, Devil's Rejects), Michelle Page (Sensored), Lucinda Jenney (G.I. Jane), Chris Coy (Barry the Bell Boy: True Blood), Art Alexakis (Lead singer of Everclear) and Michael Cudlitz (Southland, Band of Brothers).

The after party will be at the Cosmo Cafe across from the theater. Don't forget to order the drink of the night, the Rogue River Mixer!

Rogue River post production is caught in a swift current.

Rogue River post production is flowing quickly and swiftly. All of the final elements have been coming together in the last few weeks. So many talented people are putting their mark on the film. The color process is at the helm of John Tissavary. Watching John and Director Jourdan McClure color each scene into the vision that we had while shooting the film is really exciting. We are dropping in the VFX created by the talented team at Naissance and the additional help of Erik Espera. We will be hooking up with a few of our talented actors this week for an ADR session at Avilon Audio and adding in the music from our talented composer Jermaine Stegall. We are really, really close...
